21 Day Sugar Detox (take 2)

So it's a new year ... I'm still struggling with getting this baby weight to move. Baby John is now 3 months old and I have made almost no real progress. Before Christmas I was really motivated and lost 12 pounds in 4 weeks. I was getting my cardio in 3-4 times aweek and faithfully doing my Weight Watchers plan. But then came our trip to my parents for Christmas vacation. I planned to get some walks in and only cheat on Christmas day and the weekend when everyone was going to be there. Well the cheating slipped in and I went with it, really I dove right into cheating. Let's be honest it is just fun to snack and eat cookies all day long (and I mean all day long).  I took zero walks and this was over a 2 week period.

Here we are ... I am now CRAVING sugar. What I need is a DETOX. Two summers ago I was introduced to Paleo lifestyle and fell in love with it. I felt so good inside and out. During that time I did the 21 day sugar detox (21DSD) with my good friend Stephanie. It felt so good to detox and get rid of those cravings. It was like a restart button. Then I was able to stick to a clean diet and exercise plan easily because the cravings were gone. So it was easy for me to decide this is what I needed. I made my first weeks meal plan and grocery list ... all is ready!
